Design
My brain is always wandering into the world of design. Whether it is designing a layout for a website, creating a process for manufacturing, remodeling a house, or an original character concept, I am always striving to create the best design both in form and in function.
When I decided to create a plan to help my landlord remodel my house, I measured the entirety of the 1,400sqft house, created a perfect copy in an architectural CAD program, and then created three remodel options. I then went on to research the housing prices in the area and costs of specific remodeling needs and created a report explaining what the best plans would be for a complete redesign of the house.
To me, that is design. Design doesn't stop just at the visual aspect, design includes the impact it can have on your life and whether or not the effort to create a concept is worth the effort. Design is a whole package that is structured and easy to understand. It involves research, testing, reporting and a little artistic flair!
