Re-Engineering
Art & Design
As a manufacturing engineer and a lifelong artist, I strive to create a world where form and function coexist in stunning harmony.
My dream job is to develop creative concepts for futuristic technology in Sci-Fi film and literature. I am drawn to the world of fiction because there is infinite potential for creation within its unbridled universe. Tablets made their debut on the silver screen in Kubrikc's 1968 film "2001: A Space Odyssey". Movies like Star Wars and Minority Report have inspired others to research new tech and found new companies. The word and concept of a "Robot" came into existence when a man named Karel Capek wrote a play in the 1920's about mindless humanoids created to work tirelessly. The further I dig, the more I see that Science Fiction is where the future of our reality begins.
As a child, when asked what I wanted to do when I grew up, I always had the same answer; I want to be an inventor. Today, I hold onto that same childhood passion of mine. Whether it is a sculpt or a sketch, I am always working towards creating the ideas that drive the world of tomorrow.
